A backup alkaline pack holding four standard AA batteries is included to eliminate downtime if additional power is needed. The DET-2 has a built-in reticule illuminator for working in low light environments, such as inside buildings or near dawn or dusk. Each DET-2 comes equipped with a plumb bob, NiMH rechargeable battery pack and charger, alkaline battery pack, adjustment tools, rain hood, multi-language user guide, and hard-shell carrying case.
